Succombs Place was built in the early 1980s. It consists of 36 apartments divided into 5 blocks. Each apartment has its own detached garage. They are rather unusual for apartments in that no apartment has an adjoining wall with another apartment.

It is situated in its own spacious undulating garden that is surrounded by many trees. They are South-ish facing and well protected from northerly weather. Hopefully my photographs on this website will illustrate the estate better than any words.

Owners stay here a long time by the standards of many such properties. 20 years is far from unusual. I think I currently hold the record at 35 years. The great majority are occupied by their owners.
